Prestige brand’s innovative packaging features Rexam’s SP343 pump…
Rexam’s design, development and manufacture of airless dispensing tubes, powered by the soft-actuating SP343 lotion pump, has again been selected by a prestige brand – this time, by Bulgari, for its latest formulations, a moisturizer with UV protection, and a tinted foundation.
In both cases, Rexam’s SP343 airless lotion pump provides ultra-smooth application. This pump is widely regarded as an ideal choice for demanding applications, since it is engineered to handle viscous creams and is available in a variety of materials for optimal application flexibility. Versatile and elegant, the SP343 has no pre-compression and is actuated by the lightest touch.
The Bulgari packaging is done in conjunction with CTL – TUBOPLAST HISPANIA, a worldwide leader in innovative tubes for personal care products. For these latest Bulgari skin care offerings, Rexam delivers the formulation protecting airless package pre-assembled and shipped as a single pump and tube, for simplified high-speed filling. The new moisturizer has a 25mm diameter and 30ml volume, and the tinted foundation has a 30ml diameter and 40ml volume.
Both are decorated with a silver metal sleeve, and cap, for a sophisticated and modern appearance. The cap is crafted with the distinctive “Bulgari” logo for added appeal. “This dispenser tube solution offers a significantly enhanced experience, versus a regular tube, in terms of functionality and aesthetics,” said Virginie Lemeunier, Product Manager - Lotion, Rexam Personal Care. “Bulgari’s use of our airless dispenser tube technology again demonstrates the appeal of this system to prestige brands – and we anticipate further use of this airless combination in upscale product launches,” she said.
