Injection blow moulding is a brand new process for M&H and bridges the gap between blow moulding and injection stretch blow moulding providing scrap-free production of containers with an injection moulded neck finish.

The benefits of injection blow moulding process are:
Precision: Outstanding control of part tolerances, finish and weight/volume which means wide mouth containers can be produced with injection moulded tolerance necks
Efficiency: No waste from de-flashing which means reduced energy consumption and better material utilisation
Cleanliness: A constant air flow is maintained in positive pressure avoiding any possible contamination and the nickel-coated moulding area allows easy cleaning

M&H has already secured its first custom order in the pharmaceutical sector and is currently laying down new standards for a 50ml Round with 28mm neck and a 50ml Roll-on pack – with more new standards to follow shortly.
