Overwhelming Responses in Printing South China/ Sino-Label 2018. Return again on 4-6 March 2019

WorldPressOnline - The 25th South China International Exhibition on Printing Industry (Printing South China 2018) and the China International Exhibition on Label Printing Technology 2018 (Sino-Label 2018) successfully concluded on 12 March at Area A, China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, PR China, fully covered manufacturing and applications of the printing industry, providing the stakeholders with a one-stop business platform. The largest-ever exhibition in its history covered a total area of 100,000 sq.m., attracted 1,200 exhibitors and 76,228 visitors all over the world, including 10,516 overseas buyers.

Highly Acclaimed Exhibitions Flooded with Visitors

The halls were flooded with visitors throughout the three exhibition days. Exhibitors demonstrated their innovative concepts and visitors obtained abundant industry information for tapping into business opportunities.

The Digital Printing Zone was a focal point of the show. The newly launched products from digital printing leaders such as HP and Konica Minolta attracted attention from visitors, who crowded into the booths with enquiries and purchasing needs. Exhibitors such as Epson, Founder, RISO, Trojanjet, Basch and Jielong Digital Printing, etc. also displayed top digital solutions in the packaging and label printing fields and answered questions from the printing enterprises which are going digital. Many audiences agreed it was a worth-visiting show where they benefited a lot.

Ms. Cai, China Marketing Manager of China Hewlett-Packard Co., Ltd said, HP held the China premiere for HP Indigo 6900 digital printing machine during the fair. We got a wide promotion and reached the potential customers. Over 100 buyers visited our booth, two of them ordered on the spot. It is a very good result.

Mr. Yu, Sales Manager of Konica Minolta Business Solution (China) Co., Ltd. commented,Visitors are professional. They showed great interests in our Accurio Label 190 Roll-to-roll Digital Label Printing Machine which we launched in China for the first time during the fair. We have received orders on-site. At the Post-Press and Packaging Converting Hall, the newly established Corrugated Zone was also filled with professional buyers. Smart and automated printing equipment and materials suppliers such as Guowang, Jinbao, HP, Zhongke, Keqiang, YOCO, Wenhong, Guangming, Shanghai Dragon (DLG), Ruida, Xinwei, Zhengrun, CRON, SINI, Uanchor, Dayuan, Shanhe, Heng Cheng Xiang, Daqiao, Hoson, XCS Machinery, Lixin, Zihong, Tangshan Jiajie, Degao, Kangdexin, Tangshan Pioneer, Jialite, etc. (listed in no particular order) showcased their cutting-edge packaging printing and corrugated post-press automation technology and solutions.


Visitors gathered at the Green Flexo Printing Zone to see the demonstrations from well-known exhibitors including OMET, United Printing, Taiyo Kikai and Weigang (listed in no particular order) and learnt how fast, convenient, green and efficient flexography is. At the Green Label Materials Hall, Xinshan, Univacco, Zhongshan Fuzhou, Antac, Jinwanzheng and LECCO, etc. (listed in no particular order) brought new displays of green materials of anit-counterfeiting labels, in-mould labels, logistics labels and smart labels.

Visits from over 150 Delegations

The show welcomed professional buyers from over 100 countries and regions, including Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Russia, the Philippines, India, USA, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Spain, etc. Over 150 delegations consisted of associations and famous companies from different areas joined the signature show as well.

Overseas delegations included Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Malaysia Printers Association, Malaysia PROMAS International Business Society, Philippine Center for Print Excellence Foundation, Philippine Printing Technical Foundation, Indonesian Packaging Federation, Thai Beverage Industry Association, Thai Packaging Association, Gift Association (Singapore), Korea Packaging Association, Tea Trade Association of Malaysia, Filipino Chinese Printing Association, Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chinese Association of Graphics Science & Technology and Hong Kong Food Professionals Association, as well as several business groups of end-user enterprises from Vietnam, Thailand, Korea and Russia.

Mr. Evans Chiu of Filipino Chinese Printing Association said, We were warmly received by the organizer since we were invited to form the delegation. We saw high quality machinery developed in China which is up to the world standard. The materials and information we collected in this fair will facilitate our business development.

Mr. Lin Chia-Chun, General Secretary of Chinese Association of Graphics Science & Technology was very satisfied with the all-round arrangements in the fair, "Thanks to the organizer. Now the demand for package and printing keeps rising. There is room for enhancement in post-press machinery and technologies. We will continue to encourage our members to visit the fair to keep abreast with the development of printing in China."

Delegation groups from China were formed by printing, labeling and packaging associations from 31 cities in Guangdong province and other provinces, such as Fujian, Guangxi, Shandong, etc. More than 100 leading printing and packaging enterprises in China, including Yuto, Hucais, RR Donnelley, QP Group, Voion, WestRock, Stora Enso, Esquel, Essel Propack, C&C, Astros, Avery Dennison, Cymmetrik, Meihong, Sunway, etc paid visits. Renowned end-user companies including P&G, Coca-Cola, L'Oreal, Hsu Fu Chi, Lee Kum Kee, Midea, Canon, Siemens, Philips, etc., also formed groups to participate in the show.

Mr. Xiong, Manager of Hucais Technical appreciated the quantity of visitors, professionalism and the exhibition layout of the fair. “Zones are classified very clearly. The machinery and equipment show modern and innovative characteristics. Our colleagues are benefited. This is a well organised exhibition with a lot of information. The show demonstrates energy and high standard of packaging in south China, it is getting more and more successful and popular. Concurrent Events Received Great Responses

A series of conferences covering industry hot topics from environmental needs, smart tracking to e-commerce packaging were held concurrently and received enthusiastic responses. Attendees appreciated the massive information and insights they obtained from experts on the spot. For example, they exchanged ideas with the China Area General Sales Manager of Landa Corporation and learnt about nano printing in the 2018 China Innovative Packaging Summit Forum. They also got inspired on appropriate green solutions and analysis for their corporate development from the other notable seminars including 2018 The Environmental Governance Technology Seminar of Packaging Printing Industry, Intelligent & Innovative Packaging Forum 2018, 2018 Anti-Counterfeit and Intelligent Tracing Technology Forum and the 3rd Intelligent Printing Summit and Corrugated E-Commerce Show 2018. The design concepts of the excellent printing exhibits shown in the 29th Hong Kong Print Awards' Display Zone also helped visitors improve their product packaging design.

Special guest of the concurrent conference, Mr. Chen, CTO of YUTO Packaging Technology Co., Ltd. and Director of YUTO Institute said, We always keep our eyes on Printing South China. This year it gathers renowned enterprises in the industry and shows lot of machinery. In-depth analysis and discussion on industry trends are conducted in the conferences. The fair plays a leading role in the industry.



Shows Return in March 2019

The 26th South China International Exhibition on Printing Technology (Printing South China 2019) and 2019 China International Exhibition on Label Printing Technology (Sino-Label 2019), together with the 26th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials (Sino-Pack 2019) and China (Guangzhou) International Exhibition on Packaging Products (PACKINNO 2019) will be held during 4-6 March 2019 in Guangzhou, PR China again.
